Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
PR. I like it, fairly easy to install. Just trial and error with the holes that you need to cut. Only complaint is they coulda had different pipes that were more to length in certain areas. unless it is just my install method, but it doesnt seem to fit all that well with a aftermarket aluminum radiator. and the couplers for the end tanks to pipes could of been longer, I had to buy some longer ones cause I kept blowing them off from the way the pipes sat in relavance to the IC, I had to clamp everything on the very edges of the coupler and the pipes and end tank. Oh well I guess, thats what happens when you want to save a bit of cash!

Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
well i have a 3 inch inlet and outlet core and some piping....hopefully that works out for me...id prefer a vrsf kit though....
Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
It will be a REAL tight fit! Well if your gout throuh the core support. My 2.5" pipes barely fit I had to massage them in a bit.

I'm only missing a radiator, front mount (since both were stolen), and maybe two weeks of work... Only get two days off a week. Should be running soon

Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
Nice, mine will hopefully be gettin started within the week, I am almost done doing my bronco engine and once that is shoved in place and runs that thing is as good as sold! So then I got money to fund the car, I will be getting a clutch kit, flywheel, ss braided line, fluid, shifter bushings, oem tob and knock sensor. All clutch is act 6 puck, 2600 pp, and a lightend act flywheel. I will also be gettin a couple more gauges, oil psi and coolant temp, both will be prosport evo's to match my WB and boost.

Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
So debating on the 2.3 plan I had, or building a 2.4 LR motor instead? Only problem is that I would have to find a G4cs block at a JY... So that would add extra expense...decisions decisions.

Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
why dont you just snag a 6 bolt 4g64 out of a early montero or early 90's mighty max and bore that out make a 2.7 liter =D
Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
Haha already discussed that and it wouldnt be benificial or in the budget, talked to the builder and one would cost 4k for just the short block, then i still need another grand for a head. but for a lil over 4k I can have a whole 2.4 LR assembly.

Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
i dont see it costing that much...pull yards see mighty max's all day and knowing the right people the parts wouldnt be all that expensive
Re: Bluebird, the DD and WW
Ya its just not in my goals though as far as power wise. just looking for 650 on a S362 from S&R, with the batmowheel upgrade. But that is after I get a tranny too.
