My 92 and 94 Eclipse's
Here they are face to face.
92 is white has a 1.8l auto with 224K miles on the car, but the motor and tranny have about 50K on them. Hood, both fr fenders, seats, left frt brake caliper, steering wheel, drivers door and many other misc. parts donated from 94. new starter and intake manifold gasket was all that was needed to keep it going. PO thought it was the ECU. biggest challenge with this car was getting a title for the car.
94 blue/green has a 1.8l auto with 134K miles on it. Tranny was bad and needed the donar tranny from previous 94 mentioned above, new lifters, valve stem seals, 2 new tires and it is on the road as well. interior is complete and everything works, more or less.
learned a lot on these cars, next one will be at least a 2.0, but maybe a turbo but doubt it.

Why so skeptical about the turbo!! once you get one your face will look like this everytime you look at it!

Re: My 92 and 94 Eclipse's
oh i am sure it would be, but prices for them are considerably more expensive than N/T. but if i come across a good deal it may find its way into the stable......

Thanks, just waiting for the temperature to get back in the 50's so i can finish up some work on them. White one needs paint and they both are leaking oil around the pan.

I need to work on my driving habits then lol, I get like 220. But then again I been tuning it lately too and have been seeing long idle times and lots of boost applications to get rid of knock.

Re: My 92 and 94 Eclipse's
white car took a dump. did a compression test and had 30 and 50 on 2 cyclinders and 175-185 on the other 2, so i am guessing a head gasket. let the teardown begin.....
