Spammers

Looks like we got our first case of Spammers, you can check it out in Meets.

What needs to be done to take care of this sort of thing, I dont want this site to be spammed to death and not have anyone come to it for that reason.

Yeah and it's long winded! Some people are crazy.

it has been deleted...this is ridiculous..and because this is a free site their is nothing we can do...the sad thing is chris turned off guest posting...

That sucks, maybe you should get me that mod status and I would be able to take it down when I see it.

And there's another one, they really want to sell you their stuff!

So, there is about 5 or 6 more cases of spamming going on, there has to be something that can be done about this, some kinda sign up thing that deters them, like the number verification thing, or maybe some kinda DSM security question.

this is a free site so it will not allow us to use anything of that nature that i know of....idk why it wont block those posts automatically since guest posting was turned off but my guess is being a free site the security wall is a bit uhm....weak

Ya, we may have to see what other options we have, cause it may just get worse and worse.
