Here's the car

And here's what the previous owner did to it

Rebuilt at 123k
ARP Head Studs
ICS Titan head gasket
ACT 2600 with Street Disc
SS Clutch Line
S16G
550cc
255 fuel pump
Greddy Type S
DeJon Tool UICP
2G TB Elbow
3" turbo back
2G MAS
DSMLink
Autometer Boost Gauge
KYB GR2
Lowering springs (unknown brand)
Emissions removed

Here's what I've done to it

VR Speed Factory FMIC Kit
Tuned slightly better
AEM UEGO
HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer
2G Heavy Weight Shifter Knob
2G Turbo Manifold
Front and rear strut tower bars
Replaced KYB GR2 Struts and Shocks
Rebuilt MHI Small 16G Turbocharger
1999 Ford Mustang GT 17" wheels
New CD deck, speakers, sub, amp

To be installed:
Front control arms
Passenger Side Axle
AMSOil Gear Oil

To purchase:
Evo 3 B16G
750CC injectors (run E85)
GM MAF
Turbo Manifold
External Wastegate
O2 Dump Pipe
KYB AGX shocks/struts
Eibach Springs if needed
1GB front and rear calipers
EBC Yellow Stuff pads
Brembo Rotors
Cylinder head
Cams (haven't chosen a profile yet, thinking 264 intake 272 exhaust or a straight 264/264 grind)
Extrude honed intake manifold (though a Cyclone intake manifold would be BA)

More of course, but that's just a 'little' wish list for the time being.

thats a good list....if you go 264/272 you could always get yourself a good set of aem or hks adjustable cam gears so you can adjust your torque curve and what not! Very Happy

I still like the wheels on it, they are what I want to run on my Lincoln but don't care to do a hub swap.

Are you driving it or is it still down?

Sadly, no. It's still down. For the entire winter it seems. Thought it would have been nice to drive it up and down the Lutsen Mountains the past winter. But for now, I might have to just replace the throw out bearing and everthing's good to go.
They are some pretty snazzy wheel, especially from being from a Mustang and tossed on a DSM. lol

That is good looking!! Wheels look good, just needs soem center caps. Thats one of my biggest pet peaves is wheels w/o centercaps.

I've got the center caps for them, but they don't fit on with the length of the lug nuts. I'll have to pick up some different ones for them to fit. Going to etch off the mustang logo that's on them and maybe paint the wheels, though I'm up in the air about painting them.

I say clean them up a bit and get the center caps and then go from there. And get some Eagle emblems and put them over the mustang emblem. Depends on the paint. If possible powdercoat them.

I was thinking about using the original center caps off of the OE wheels, but I only have one left. I'd like to do a black/white theme on the wheels; either mostly black with white for the depth on the spokes, or all black with white insides or vice versa on both. Toss up. It would be powdercoated I'm thinking, just for the sheer fact of longevity and overall looks.

The center caps are plastic right, ford got cheap. I didn't think you could powder coat plastic.

Powder coating the wheels themselves. Not so much on the plastic, though that would be neat to see how terrible they come out. lol

I misread then! lol! I'd hate to see plastic after it got baked in the oven!

After considering purchasing a brand new MHI S16G turbo, and also a Chinese knock-off S16G, I've decided to rebuild the turbo instead of buying something that's out of my budget that will last, or buying something that's in my budget but may go out in 200 miles.
So, here's the kit that I got from G-Pop Shop
(Product: Mitsubishi TD05/TD05H/TD06 Complete Superback and EVO Rebuild Kit)
Total cost was $109.00, $118.41 with shipping. Got here super fast too, only three days to get the thing shipped via UPS.

I've got the turbocharger rebuilt, went more smoothly than I thought it would. I have yet to install it though, been exceptionally busy at work and we've been getting some strange weather (snow in April, WTF?) so I've been putting it off. Rather do this comfortably in the warmth.
Few more things to do before I can put her back together; remove O2 housing from the downpipe (going to be a pain in the ass), then button her all up, burp the cooling system, change the oil, prime the turbo, and get her broken in.
Here's a couple of pictures of the rebuilt turbo and the turbine housing.
